The Vehicle Road Data Acquisition and Processing System based on multi-component wheel force transducer is an important apparatus of the vehicle testing. It is very significant in the road testing, especially for the transmission system and the brake system.First, this paper introduced the method to select the strain chip measurement positions and organize the bridges and proved this method can decouple the outputs of the multi-component transducer for each variable. Meanwhile, this paper deduced the relation equations between multi-component signals and the wheel loads. Then, the paper designed a single-component transducer data acquisition system. Its electromagnetic induction couple for energy transmission and ray-electricity couple for signal transmission were still used in multi-component transducer data acquisition system.The emphasis of this paper was laid on the design of the data acquisition system of multi-component wheel force transducer. The circuits embedded in the transducer acquire, amplify signal and converter the A/D signal to the serial outputs. Then it transmits the data to the acquisition board of a PC. The computer acquires the data through the acquisition board. This paper also discussed the design of universal multi-component wheel force transducer.Some technical problems in application were solved in this research. We hope the design in this paper is useful for similar measurement systems. This paper has an important effect on the design and application of Vehicle Data Acquisition and Processing System.
