Lianshui Basin Water And Land Resources Database Construction And Its Applications

The research is funded by the national natural science fund project titled Integration and Systematization ofMathematic Models for Soil and Water Resources Study in a Basin and its Application.The main research contents and results are as follows:1. Supported by The DBMS MS SQL Server, C# and Map Objects 2.2 techniques, the Lian Shui Basin water and soil resource database is set up.2.Due to the different kind of data, there are three methods to input the data: record, import and load. Consumer program is customized with C# and Map Objects 2.2 to realize the data imported into database.3.the OO thinking is introduced into database; the image and graph data are regarded as objects; the image, graph and their attributes are regarded as records and are managed uniformly.4.based on the Lian Shui Basin water and soil database, the Lian Shui Basin data management is set up. The functions are as follows:(DThe browse function: See, query, search some data and renew the database.(2)Edit function: Delete and insert records.(3)Data obtain function and edit: Vector and grid input and output are included.(4)Spatial data analysis and management: Including 1) query by point, rectangle and polygon; display of graphics (zoom out, zoom in, moving and whole view.2) attributes management: the definition and modification of attributes: data items definition and modification database file add and delete modification, alternate with exterior data5.output function: including .map, table text and screen three-dimensional output.
