This thesis designs & researches the Unit Control System with Siemens TXP Distributed Control System ( DCS ) based on Taishan Power Plant 2x600MW,unit1&2. This system consists of AS620 automation system ,OM650 process control and information system, ES680 engineering system, SINEC bus system, and has successfully realized the function of DAS,MCS,FSSS,SCS,ECS, for Unit 1&2 and also fulfills the communication task of DEH,MEH and other auxiliary control system with its communication interface module . Therefore the system accomplishes the requirement at all the operating stage and guarantees the safety and efficiency of power plants.Firstly, the thesis introduces the basic concept of Distributed Control System(DCS) and the concept &structure of Siemens TXP control system. Secondly, the thesis introduces the solution from Siemens base on the hardware and software specifications of TaiShan Power Plant, and mainly focuses on the MCS and ECS implementation. Thirdly, the author gives a description of the engineering realization of this project. Finally, the author draws some conclusions for the system designation and implementation and put some ideas for the project in order to be referenced by other project.
