Research On Design Strategies Of The Contact Spacein Architectural Department Hall For The Coordination Innovation Education

In order to encourage collaborative innovation, the ministry of education in China formally issued the implementation of the "2011 Project" in April 24, 2012. Architecture is subject with strong comprehensiveness, and needs to across multiple fields and knowledge of multidisciplinary disciplines. Therefore, Architecture department hall as the main teaching site of teachers and students, it’s architecture design should think about improving the communication and innovation design through addition of contact spaces.Firstly the author summarized the experience of classic cases of contact space in foreign architecture department halls, and conclude the research situation of the development of contact space in domestic, put forward the current problems that needs further research. Then try to know the present situation and requirements of contact space in domestic various universities of architecture department halls in the form of visiting & researching. Finally distinct the characters of the two types of architecture department hall, and put forward the contact space design strategy of contact space in architecture department halls to adapt to the idea of Collaborative Innovation Education, and verified the research results with the method of design practice.The innovation point of this paper lies in the argument as follows:Firstly,divided the architecture department hall into two classes, the self-using ones and the Sharing-using ones,and then put forward the design strategies. Applying the architectural typology and the differences between users, the author divided the architecture department hall into two classes, the self-using ones and the sharing-using ones,according to the type of users and characters of contact behaviors confirm the type of the Contact Catalytic, and finally put forward the design strategies.Secondly, the author applied the Theory of Space Syntax to conduct the quantification analysis of the accessibility of spaces. Utilizing the Theory of Space Syntax and the software of UCL Depthmap, searching for the sight accessibility and the activity accessibility respectively according to the analyzes of Isovist, Connectivity and Axis.Finally, the author optimized the mentality accessibility of strangers in virtue of bringing in the concept of Contact Catalytic. Bring in different types of Contact Catalytic respectively according to the types and the interests of users in different architecture department hall, in order to optimize the mentality accessibility of strangers.Firstly, the paper provided references for the designing of contact space in architecture department hall in theory. Secondly, put forward the workable methods of improving the using efficiency and frequency of communication behavior. Thirdly, the paper provided a new approaching for the promoting of communication and combination among different majors in architecture department hall.In addition, the paper came up with the specific optimization design strategies for the architecture department hall of CAUP in BJUT in the last practicing chapter, and carried out the evaluation.
