Real-time monitoring over lamp system of citys is a necessary means of keeping thesystem running reliably and safely, also a important component of city establish. Thearticle is based on GPRS technology which is efficient and reliable communicationchannel ,and designs a kind of lamp controlling system. This system can be used to measure two power parameters as volt and current in kindsof wiring circuits, and has the ability of remote communication, remote control, alarmingand events record. Be based on C8051F005 micro_controller, this system use its strongerability to process data, high speed and low power consumption. Its abundant peripheralmodule on chip make the temimal circuit simple and relibile. FLASH in the chip can beprogramed on line, and safety system of FLASH memory may protect code of program anddatum not to read or overwrite accidentially. JTAG technology make in_system debug andsoftware upgrading simple. and the C51 language, which ensured the softwaredevelopment environment, Through G20 module which connect with C8051F005micro_controller, micro_controller connects controlling terminals to GPRS networkthrough using AT command and implements communication with supervising center.GPRS technology provides a kind of new method for data transfer because of itsdevelopment in mobile communication area. the concrete application of GPRS technologyused in this scheme was formulated in detail. The supervising software is programmed with Visual C++, which has winsockprogramming interface with TCP/IP protocol, transfers data, implements design ofcontrolling software. This thesis describes software and hardware structure of the system in detail, andintroduces its function and operation modes briefly.
