With the improvement of productive power, beauty becomes more and more important. Bridge, as a common architecture, which's model design is paid attention to by many bridge designers. However, an excellent bridge architecture must be an organic combination of aesthetics and mechanics.Our country is one of the regions with many earthquakes and earthquake is sudden and destructive. According to investigation of damages of bridges destroyed in earthquake in recent years, many bridges damages are caused by the destruction of piers. Based on the basic earthquake resistance theory, causes of bridge damages . prevention methods of bridge damages and bridge ductile anti-seismic design and energy design theory are introduced in this paper.There are many factors that influences anti-seismic properties of bridge piers, however, the study on the relationship of bridge pier model and the anti-seismic properties of bridge piers have been not common up till now. Simple classification is carried out and basic principles and methods of bridge model design are introduced. Aimed at various bridge piers, aesthetic evaluation are carried out by the method of fuzzing mathematics, the people that are investigated are elementary professional peoples and professional peoples. The bridge pier models that evaluated are dominated by pillar bridge pier, varying in the model of section and location of straining beam. Based on the aesthetic evaluation of bridge piers, static and dynamic properties of various bridge piers are analyzed, the conclusions may be some a guidance to aesthetics of bridge piers research of mechanical properties and engineering design.
