Protection Information Management System For Research And Development

As development of computer technology, there search of relay protections and automatic equipments has achieved much accomplishment in continually improved performance and newly developed devices. While enhancing the reliability and security of power system network, these devices bring new challenges to the relay protection engineers. How to manage more and more new devices, how to utilize devices at maximum efficiency and avoid relay protection accidents are difficult problems for the relay protection engineers. At the same time, with the rapid developing information and network technologies, some power enterprises successfully established Management Information System and acquired good results. So it is feasible to establish a technical support and managements of tware system for efficient and safe operation of relay protection.In this paper, the practical requirements of relay protection engineers are analyzed, and several functional modules are summarized. Thinking the characteristic of this system, we choose the C/S network model as net platform of relay protection technical support system. In this paper, founding notebook module , planning module, ordraional working module, specification statistic module, querying module, and describes the characteristics of this system and developing procedure and its design ways. This system is operated on the friendly men-machine interlace and tis characteristics are flexible operation, safety, and practicability. The application of this system in the fields will be popularized in the future. The system has implemented the technical support and assistant management for relay protection operation, and satisfactory results were achieved.
