Process Monitoring and Controlling is one of the key technologies in project management. Milestone Task was used widely in Process Monitoring and Controlling of Aviation products, so Project process was sightless but in Milestone Task. At one time this made project adjusting subjective and dubious and low effective in some ways. At aim of this disadvantage the paper has researched the technology of Process Monitoring and Controlling in Aviation products. On the basis of Process Monitoring and Controlling's applications, the paper discussed process modeling based on Petri Net, and driving mechanism of project tasks based on the workflow technology and process controlling based on Vanguard Line and Earned Value. Finally method of Object-oriented Based was used to realize the development of prototype system. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. Process modeling and analyzing in Aviation products. Common process modeling methods were analyzed, the process modeling bases on Time Petri Net was put out. Analyzed Aviation products trait, hierarchical monitoring places and task activities were defined in PC/TN model to describe project process. In order to assure project process's validity and optimize plan flow, a process validating arithmetic was put out to validate and analyze model.2. Process driving and monitoring. The Workflow holding Aviation products driving and monitoring was put out, and driving mechanism and function configuration of the workflow were expounded. On the bases of workflow's applications steps, the paper defined process instance, and managed process resources, and enacted task state change rules, and conceived process instance driving arithmetic.3. Hierarchical controlling of process in Aviation products. Introducing content of project process controlling and confirming control aim, the paper conceived hierarchical controlling pattern in Aviation products and project control flow. Finally, the process controlling based on Vanguard Line and Earned Value was discussed in detail.4. System realizing of process monitoring and Controlling in Aviation products. The method of Object-oriented Based was used to realize the development of prototype system. Then some aviation project is introduced as an example to demonstrate the process and validity of our methods.
