With the development of our national agriculture and economy construction in rural area, electrical demand becomes larger and larger. But rural power management has many problems in lots of aspects, especially in facilities management. For example, too much power loss, leakage of electricity, and electricity stealing. Many peasants lack knowledge of electricity usage, which may cause danger. In all, power suppliers must improve their services and do better in electricity management with information methods especially in low voltage power network. This will not only satisfy the requirement of peasants in electricity usage, but also save power loss. So the main contribution of the thesis is focused on four aspects as follows: First of all, some problems in low voltage power network are decomposed, and main problems have been chosen. Then, a new method of best choosing line and transformer is proposed in the electricity line power loss problem. There methods of transcribing electricity meter are proposed in rural power networks. Thirdly, a new mathematical programming is developed, which helps to do load predetermination for peasant users. The paper takes the situation of Jurong area, in Jiangsu province as an example. Finally, the GIS system is used in rural low voltage power networks analysis, and functions of the GIS system are also enlarged to achieve more and better usage.
