Urban Water Demand Forecast, Social And Economic Security Conditions

Security, is one of the mankind's basic needs, it with development are two major tasks of the modern society. People have new understanding to the security while pursuing social eternal development. The connection between security and socio-economic development is becoming closer and closer, they interdepend and restrict each other. Traditional security often refers to military security and politics security. With the development of society, it has produced nontraditional security issues such as social security, economic security, resource security and environmental security, etc. Water is the indispensably precious resource that mankind depend on for existence, it is the important component of the natural environment, and its use will influence the socio-economic security. At present, what degree water demand and socio-economic indicators reach to guarantee socio-economic security? How to coordinate the relation between socio-economic development and water consumption has become one of the present questions receiving much concern.Firstly, on the basis of reading a large number of documents, the domestic and international current research situation of the predication method of water demand have been introduced in this paper, and subject problem and development trend in the future of the study combining the current situation of socio-economic research have been then discussed. The urban water resource and the characteristic of water consumption, and security theory and the concept of socio-economic security are also introduced in this paper. This study establishes the foundation for the research of socio-economic security conception, socio-economic security quantification and water demand prediction under the condition of socio-economic security.The research of socio-economic security is one of the key parts in this paper. The concept of the socio-economic security has been discussed, and social security, economic security, resource security, environmental security have been separately analyzed. A quantification method of socio-economic security is suggested, it is a quantitative description method through security degree (SD), which is used to denote the grade of socio-economic security.The predication of water demand under the socio-economic security (SSWDP) is second key part of this paper.
