Gis-based Intelligent Transportation System Model Study

The more increasing of the vehicle in the city, the more demands of the economy developing and people' s living, the lagged traffic situation has become the obstacle of the city' s continuable development. Therefore, it' s necessary to construct ITS as soon as possible. Through the construction of ITS, we can fully integrate the existing sources of traffic facilities, kinds of information technique market and manpower, So our society can be offered faster, better, multifunctional service to improve the utilization ratio of social foundational facilities and the operation of traffic system so that the society will be in scientific, reasonable and efficient state. The aim of the topic is to put forward a complete model of ITS and realize the intelligence of organization, management, running, service of traffic system in Qingdao.The research of the topic is based on the investigation of application and requirement of the traffic system in Qingdao, fully utilizing the Computer Network Technique, Communication Technique, Command Technique, Video Processing Technique and Computer Software Technique, putting emphasis on studying of GIS, gives the function and character of WebGIS and MapWeb simply, with a view to realize the correlative system' s conformity and resource' s share. In view of the work, this text puts forward a strategic ITS model.This model is divided into three layers: one is basis space of GIS and application data, the other is MapWeb exchange layer, the third is application service . The first layer include GIS application system, Traffic Management And Planning System, Electronic Charge System, Tourist Information System, Emergency And Security System, Integrated Transportation And Operation System. Among them, the City Integrated Information System lies on the third layer, through the MapWeb, makes the correlative system' s conformity and resource' s share come true. All parts can achieve their functions and exchange data through INTRANET. This text attachs most importance to Integrated Information System' s structure and function, the basic information application system is based on GIS, integrate the sub-system of intelligent traffic system and resource' s share, build an integrated information system model. In addition, it introduces the function of the MapWeb the network map. Meanwhile, it gives a brief account of other parts' structures and function definitions. According to the reality of the construction of ITS in Qingdao, it mainly shows the input, storage, searching, model building, analyzing and output of information resource management center in Integrated Information System and the realizable technology of Information Service Center. Also, it describes the realizable method and application situation in Qingdao of the integrated information system whose center point is GIS basic platform.
