The operational objective in this paper is the problem of kinetic projectile penetrating concrete target, using technique of theory analysis and numerical simulation to analysis and calculate .The details contents in this paper are as follows:1) Studied the theory analysis of kinetic projectile penetrating concrete target. Mathematical model was set up, on the basis of dynamics formulation, normal expanse of the target interface , and supposed concrete medium was constringent material. With the help of computer, work out the computer program to this model, that can calculate penetrating orbiting and running time under different initial velocity, angle of incidence , angle of attack , and target parameter. At last, uniting existing diameter 57mm ovoid projectile experimental data, computational analysis were carried out, the two had tallied well, that confirmed the model rationality;2) Studied the numerical simulation of kinetic projectile penetrating concrete target. A systematical analysis and discussion about the past and current development of various concrete models were carried out, the appropriate one was chosen, with the help of the finite element software LS-DYNA, taking diameter 57mm ovoid projectile penetrating concrete target for research object, numerical simulation was carried out, and compared with the existing experimental data, some valuable calculating examples and useful conclusion were got.The research results indicate that hat the vertical penetration results calculated agreed well with the experimental results, thus it can be seen: using theory analysis and numerical simulation method to study the problem of kinetic projectile penetrating concrete target is feasible, and reaches better precision, this paper can offer reference for further research and engineering calculation.
