With the rapid development of technology of the precision strike weapons andhigh-power weapons, some of the monument targets with high-value and major strategicsignificance were hided in the ground, and strengthened the protection. Ammunition forstorming fortification is effective mouthed against such targets, so the research of projectilepenetrating into concrete is the foundation of research of ammunition for stormingfortification. The paper combined theory analysis,numerical simulation and experimentvalidation together to study mechanism and mode of projectile penetrating into concrete withdifferent velocity, different angle and different length of concrete target, and will providereference to improve the power design of charging structure.The relationships among penetration resistance,penetration depth,Projectile shapes,conerete properties and penetrating veloeity are analyzed apProximately by means of semi-empirieal methods and cavity-expansion penetration models. By collecting and analyzingForrestal’s penetrating experiments data and others penetrating depth equation,a goodagreement with experimental penetrating depth will be received.With the help of the finite elements oftware LS-DYNA, state of projtctitlepenertrationing into finite concrete target was simulated, and analysized the effect ofpenertration depth and finaly velocity with different projectile parameters. And the paper alsosimulated the projectile penertrating into infinited concrete target, then comparing thedeceleration in different curve of oval projectile with Forrestal method, and the resluts are fitwell. So the Forrestal method can do will in normal project anction.Studied the nurnerical simulation of kinetie projeetile inclined penetrating concrete target.A systematieal analysis and diseussion about the past and current development of variousconcrete models were carried out, the appropriate one was chosen, taking diameter57mm projeetile inclined penetrating concrete target for research objeet, numerical simulation wascarried out,and compared with the existing experimenta data,some valuable calculating examplesand useful conclusion were got.There search results indicate that retroflexion moment isthe radical eausation of rieoehet phenomena. And different initial velocity, angle of ineideneeare also the reclection of the results.
