With expressway construction and traffic will continue to increase , tollgates traffic capacity and the original charges modes have been difficult to meet the demands of the rapid movement vehicles, "toll station traffic jam" is more common phenomenon in our society. Moreover, lots of aspect factor such as the difficulty expansion toll station, town planning restrictions, ground construct cost expensive and so on. The traditional manual and semiautomatic charges can not meet the pressing needs of society and the development of transportation, seeking high efficiency, safety has become an inevitable alternative to the charges. Interconnected electronic toll collection system is an important field of study and application links in intelligent transportation system. Interconnected electronic toll collection system carried into execution to ease traffic jams, improve the road capacities, enhance vehicle operational efficency and highway management level and service quality, cut down fuel consumption and vehicle wear and tear, decrease emissions, economize energy and protect environment.Based on the system analysis of the home and abroad toll collection system on the basis of the status, put forward technique project of interconnected electronic toll collection system introduce dual chip electronic tag + dual-interface IC card to coming true . Firstly, the frame structure of the toll collection system, network topology structure, database application architecture, toll management and control center system software in this paper detailed designed and researched Secondly, route recognition and toll fee liquidation arithmetic analyzed and studied in IETC system. In the process of database application system structure designed and studied, multi-tier C/S structure introduced to interconnected electronic toll collection system database application structure. Better solution to the traditional two-tier C/S structure facing many problems in the application system. During the course of the toll management and control center system software designed, system function and flow analyzed, function module ploted, system data coding defined, system database logic structure designed detailedly.In the process of path recognition and toll fee liquidation arithmetic studied and analyzed, path ambiguous in path net analyzed, recognition method of path ambiguous studied, road network modeling methods based on graph theory and data liquidation algorithm modeling based on matrix introduced. Better solution the toll revenue of the network environment split and liquidation.Finally, the current study to be summarized and put forward prospect.The application of the interconnected electronic toll collection system to make safety, compatibility, expansibility, interchangeable, reusable been strengthened, reduce maintain workload and improve the efficiency of the toll collection system.
