Aircraft anti-skid braking system is an important airborne device of aircraft, which plays an important role in taking off and safe landing. From the perspective of control and simulation, mathematical models of multi-gear braking system are built by Matlab/Simulink. A new control law which adapts to the system is designed and a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation platform is established.Based on the analysis of component and structure of multi-gear braking system, the airplane dynamics model, undercarriage model, braking torque model and combined model are established. In view of the complexity, uncertainty and nonlinear characteristics of multi-gear braking system, a new method which based on BP neural network is proposed to improve the traditional PBM control law. Though training the input-output data which selected from the dry, wet and ice runway condition, the BP network is perfectly upbuilt by Matlab6.5/nntool, the controller which used in the anti-skid control box is to improve the simulation precision.A HIL simulation system based on concurrent computer is presented and the RT-Lab is applied to solve real-time control problem. Using the concurrent computer and RT-Lab, both anti-skid braking controller and hydraulic system can be put into the simulation loop. Meanwhile, a method of mixed programming with VC++ and Matlab tools is introduced in order to build human-computer interaction of the simulation system. Both digital and HIL simulation were carried out aim at a kind of airplane. The digital simulation result indicates that the control scheme is correct and feasible; the HIL simulation result shows that the platform of the HIL simulation system reflects real environment, it can provide an actual experimentation platform for designing and improving the aircraft braking system.
