Automobile amount is increasing in today society, and its exhaust had a bad effect on environment, for restricting exhaust gas more and more strict criterions were implemented. As compared with petrolic engine, NOx and PM of diesel engine exhaust is difficultly controlled, but EGR had a good effect on reducing NOx exhaust. The paper has done some experiment study on 495 diesel engine, wenquli pipeline was designed from the pressure difference of entry gas and emitted gas in the experiment and done atmosphere simulation experiment. found EGR had different effect on the fuel consume and exhaust of the diesel from different altitudes .On the basis of studying enough and using correlative domestic and foreign technical data ,this paper has comprehensive and deep research about the EGR of diesel engine from the different point of view of theory,software and hardware design of electric control system and experiment etc. Some practical results are obtained.In more detail, included as follows:1)The paper analyzed kinds of EGR systems together with their advantages and disadvantages , then illuminated the EGR effects on engine, especially on the working process of diesel engine . studying out the principle for EGR system design.2) EGR test bed is built, simultaneity calibration system is designed. Concentrated on 495 diesel engine of YunNei engine factory, after accomplishing the EGR experiment, analyzing the related data got from the experiment.3) The author did some basic research about an EGR system of whole electric control. Single-chip computer cl67cs of Infineon corporation is its CPU of ecectric unit, system software based RTOSμC/OS-II . Electric unit hardware based PHYTEC developing board and its expend hardware.4 ) a digital singal are gathered. Electronic magnetism valve is executingdevice. Control system is open.5)Time clock interrupt technology ofμC/OS-II is improved ,and its real timefunction is strengthened. Matrix keyboard and its scanning program is designed.Gathered data is displayed with LED and is sent to panther in PC.6) Some typical questions about the EGR design and experiment and EGR localizationof itsself are discussed in this paper. Related countermeasures are also presented.7)Finally, summarizing the whole text and giving a expectation EGR systemamelioration.
