In the development of underwater small arms, it is a critical problem to test its overallperformance. To research the movement law of automatic mechanisms is an essential part.According to the tactical technologic index, the accepting requirement of theunderwater small arms and the characters of testing underwater dynamic parameters, wedetermined the experiment plan, built testing system and software of this system. We selectelectromagnetic method to measure speed and set up a testing system of automaticmechanisms for learning the experience of underwater gun.We analyzed some phenomena appeared in the process of experiment in view ofcurves, and we got conclusions: using double loops sensor to test the speed of automaticmechanisms can reduce noisy disturbance and vibration of curves. To establish theparameters of software must be reasonable, or we may get wrong curves which can'treflect real situation. We got the conclusion that both in the air and underwater the recoil speed ofautomatic mechanisms were almost the same, but the counter-recoil speed were verydifferent. According to testing curves, we deal with displacement, speed, time and so onbased on LabVIEW.Through analyzing the result of testing data, we found the influential factors, judgedthe stability of the movement of automatic mechanisms and wether the distribution ofenergy was appropriate, we also judged the rationality of viable speed because of hitamong each part of automatic mechanisms and the resistance given by water. We alsoevaluated the overall performance of underwater small arms in order to provide parameteraccordance for structure improvement of automatic mechanisms.
