| It has been proved the advanced weapon always plays a critical role to doom the loser in modern war, as we concerned on the increasing demand to developing high new technology to make our armament ahead of the time.In the measurement field, imagining measuring technology is becoming a rising focused technology in recently years, using imagine as its carrier, and picking useful information from it, It has a good many merits such as high speed, large dynamic range, abundant information, etc. At present, it has been diffusely applied to various kinds of industrial measurements. As a new-fashioned semi-conductor component with self-scan, high resolution & sensitivity, compact structure, accurate pixel orientation, Charge coupled device (CCD) is becoming more and more practical and widely used. Since 1990's, the measurement technology is always referred using CCD as a very effective contactless measurement.With theoretical illation, calculation, analysis and experiments on regular cannonball fragment, this paper aims to first, generate the measuring model which meets the applied precision criteria for the fragment frontal area, secondly design brand new measuring system for various fragments' frontal area, and last but not least, choose the appropriate measurement for certain fragment.From the analysis to the function needed, the precision required and the some other practical information, hereby the plan: With Multi-spots and Multi-angles photography, 4 CCD cameras arrayed in space and fixed to a base which can spin and is driven by DC motor; so the 3 dimension sampling data of the fragment can be collected to the PC for the auto-processing, meanwhile the fragment image should be modified to guarantee the precision.This paper also analyses the reason why the errors and the uncertainties of this system occer and the ways to solve them. The measuring results of examples show this measuring system for fragments' frontal area meets the design requests. |
