Electric-power field checkout system is a means employed by electricity department for tracking and managing the customer to use electricity. With the development of the modern communication and information management technology, the old way of manual checkout ,with its shortcoming of low efficiency, be easy to make mistakes, inconvenient information maintenance and management, must be innovated for more automatic.Data collection and information management system based on the Pocket PC (PDA) is an effective mobile business data-processing means.It has been used in some important fields. In this thesis, according to the characteristics of checkout work and the demand of management, we apply PDA system with wireless communication and other information technology to design Electric-power Field Checkout System (EFCS) to deel with wireless data collection, intelligent generation of check task, processing and storeage of mobile data. The system uses PDA checkout terminal to record checkout results paperlessly, and stores to mobile database, then sends the data to the main station through wireless channel for management, achieving mobile processing of data operation. Meanwhile, in order to improve efficiency of electric-power field checkout, we introduce a domain decomposition algorithm, making the checkout nodes which is near each other can be distributed to check in the same day, so as to save time. Then, we introduce a smart routing algorithm, it can find an short way in the giving domain which passes all the nodes, improving efficiency more.The thesis describes design objectives,workflow analyst,algorithm building,module design and concrete realization thoroughly. Research priority touches several aspects including module dividing for PDA terminal and main station, design of system communication protocol and realization of database interface module. Finally, we test the performance of every module of the system. The results indicate that the system runs stably and the performance is good enough to meet the requirement of the electricitydepartment.
