Drive mechanism is an important part of packing machine. It directly influences the speed,the stability and efficiency of the machine. Therefore,it is very important to analyse the drive mechanism.In order to guarantee it can satisfy the use demand, two typical cases were studied in this paper. Firstly, the main shaft of the packing machine must be analysed in fault mode and Finite Element Method (FEM ) is used as the analysis method as a result of stress chart, and discuss the biggest stress and displacement is whether in the safe bound or not. Secondly, the kinematics and dynamics performance of the whole drive mechanism was studied. And simulation which verified the velocity,acceleration and force has also been done based on the academic studies. Finally, improvement measures for existing problem were taked.It is indicated that the main shaft was not able to meet the intensity and toughness requirements in fault mode, and the problem of noise and vibration were serious. It can be solved by improvement measures.After the studies of the drive mechanism, a systemic measure to solve the problem of noise and vibration in limit speed case has been investigated and it provides reference to the research of packing machine. |
