At present, the research on promoting the coordinated development of the elements of urban agglomeration is rather weak. This study will help to strengthen the depth of its implication by searching for the main problems existed in the process of the northern slope of Tianshan urban agglomeration shaped, on the basis of it, finding out the direction and the focus of future development and enhancing the overall competitiveness of this urban agglomeration in order to form a reasonable development pattern and improve the interaction of the regional coordination mechanism in the scope of the Xinjiang to promote the healthy development of urban agglomeration. Therefore, it is practically significant and theoretically valuable.Based on the analysis of the factors affecting the development of the northern slope of Tianshan urban agglomeration and the presentation of it, this paper picks out the major problems by deeply analyzing its population structure, spatial structure, the industrial structure and policy systems. Finally, it resorts to realize the coordinated development of urban agglomeration in the northern slope of Tianshan by adjusting the industrial structure, improving the structure of urban system, updating the policy system and promoting cooperation among and the army, oil companies and the local government.This article is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction and research overview.
