Suzhou Landscape Narrative Expression Of Liuyuan

The Lingering Garden, as a typical carrier for culture, is a meta-story base, where every scene with the landscape could express not only "aesthetic function" ,but also show its special "expression of function" . Research on this subject would use the narrative theory to make analysis of the methods from narrative perspective on the landscape described in Suzhou Lingering Garden and the dissemination of information. From both of the explicit and implicit analysis carried out at two levels, this paper finally summarized and summed up the explicit level in the two kinds of narrative expression: graphic description style and activities narrative style. And the implicit level in the two kinds of narrative expression: the element expression style and pattern of painted style, then combined with the practice of landscape design, preliminary study of these expressions in the contemporary landscape design and development would be provided. In today's information technology age, such a way to show environmental information to facilitate the perception of people in the places, experiences, strengthen exchanges and participation, so as to enhance the experience of the environment at sites value. This is contemporary landscape of the narrator (the designer) and receiver (environment experience) for both has certain reality significance.
