Wheel's random side slip is one part of the total side slip, which is caused by track changes arising caused by the surface roughness. It is closely related to the form and structure of the suspension and road conditions. The poorer the road conditions are, the greater the change in wheelbase, the clearer the wheels side slip will be. In this case, the tire wear is very serious, and it poses a huge threat to the handling stability and traffic safety. This paper summed up the relevant research at home and abroad; described the structure and characteristics of McPherson independent suspension; analyzed the characteristics of various types of slip and its impact; focus on the mechanism of random selection of sideslip as well as the evaluation criteria. Pointed out that the suspension of the car wheels sideslip is needed to study.Established a 1 / 2 McPherson independent front suspension of the simulation model through the theoretical analysis of the structure of McPherson independent suspension with the software of ADAMS . Analyzed the specific circumstances of random sideslip through the simulation of wheels in the uneven condition of road . Identified the sensitivity of McPherson Suspension Random Sideslip to the structure and each parameter .Optimized the structure of the McPherson independent suspension to control the situation of wheel's sideslip and determined the optimal parameter values of McPherson independent suspension to provide a reference design.
