As the development of the economic, the single-storey industrial plant gradually can't meet the demand of building and producing. And now lots of multi-storey industrial plants have been built in many places. Usually the bent structure is not used in the multi-storey industrial plant, but recently there are a great mount of multi-storey industrial plants built by bent structure whose floor use the double-T plates and roof use the saddle plates in the south of Jiangsu province. We have done a lot of work in the single-storey industrial plant until now, but there are few theoretical achievements in this multi-storey bent structure industrial plant, the seismic behavior in especial. The theories of calculating method, mechanical model, elastic-plastic behavior and so on are still in the early stage. The theoretical research falls far behind the practical engineering. Therefore, there are great theoretical and practical significance in the analysis for the elastic-plastic behavior of multi-storey industrial plants built by bent structure under the action of the rarely met earthquake.In this thesis, I use the static elastic-plastic analysis method (Pushover Analysis) in order to research on the seismic behavior of the multi-storey bent structure. The main subjects are summarized as follows:Simplifying the mechanical model of the multi-storey bent structure, calculating the entire stiffness matrix and the internal force; Introducing the nonlinear static analysis method containing the fundamental principle, steps, common methods to analysis the target displacement and the side direction load style and bringing forward the target displacement and the side direction load style applied in this thesis; Compiling the procedures by MATLAB using the numerical calculation of Wilson-θmethod to get the displacement between stories and the locations and the order of the plastic hinges for the multi-storey bent structure; Researching the relative displacement between the double-T plates and the longitudinal beam and the longitudinal maximum distance to set a frame as the first measure to resist the earthquake. Comparing the seismic behavior of the multi-storey bent structure and multi-storey frame structure in order to bring forward some suggestions in the design and construction of the multi-storey bait structure.
