The advent of information age has brought new demands and challenges to information construction of military weapon systems. With the information construction of weapon systems deepening, more and more related researches spread gradually. Among them, it is the precondition for decision-makers forming correct understanding and making reasonable decisions that holding the information performance of existing weapons systems accurately. Therefor, selecting reasonable evaluation method and developing appropriate evaluation system of weapon systems'information performance will have important military significance on assessing the information performance of weapon systems.First, the corresponding index system was established on the basis of analysing the weapon systems'information performance. Then some assessment methods were studied, as the rating of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation contains much more useful information, and could show the demand side quantized value clearly, so this paper assessed the information performance of weapon system based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Throughout the evaluation, the weights of one grade indexes to the total target were determined by AHP, that is, the key step of calculating weights in fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was finished. Meanwhile, the Bayesian network models of information retrieval system, information transmission system, information processing systems, command and control system were built in Netica for analysis and reasoning. Then the corresponding evaluation results of Bayesian network were processed comprehensively, that is, the key step of determining the fuzzy membership in fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was finished. After determining the weight information and fuzzy membership message, choosing the appropriate fuzzy operators synthesized them, the fuzzy vector evaluation results of weapon system information performance was achieved. And the final evaluation results could be acquired by the maximum membership principle.Finally, the paper illustrates that the proposed method is feasible and reasonable by an example, which uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, AHP and the Bayesian network models for assessing the information performance of weapon system.
