In recent years, the industrial Ethernet technology has changed completely the network infrastructure equipment of the traditional industrial enterprises. Through this technology, the application of Ethernet can be extended from the factory information layer downward to the control layer and device layer, and a uniform standard, reliable-interconnected network platform can be established. So the so-called"isolate islands of automation"can be eliminated and the rapid flow of information can be implemented in the enterprise.The development of technology and the improvement of the management request to eliminate"isolate islands of automation"phenomenon to realize centralized supervision of the whole plant automation system in the power plant. The centralized supervision of the auxiliary plant is the premise and foundation of achieving this objective. In this context, Wenzhou Power Company proposed the engineering technical renovation project of the auxiliary control system network. In the thesis the modern control network technology is introduced, and the design and implementation of engineering technical renovation project of the auxiliary control system network is highlighted in Wenzhou Power Company.Auxiliary Control System network in Wenzhou Power Plant used real-time, highly reliable industrial Ethernet. According to the system situation, the network can be divided into four layers, named field direct-control layer, the regional monitoring layer, the centralized supervision layer of the whole plant and plant-level real-time information layer.The implementation of the project will substantially reduce the operating personnel's daily inspection, operation and maintenance of the workload. The monitoring capabilities to auxiliary equipment and system parameter have also been greatly improved; the equipment control system reliability has been elevated, and the unit safety factor has been enhanced.
