Network Analyzer is one of the most important measuring instruments in the modern microwave measurement field. Since the rapid development of the microwave technology, the performance of the modern microwave measurement is in increasingly high demand. Foreign Network Analyzer in the industry has a leading position. There is a gap in the technological competitiveness, because domestic microwave technology has a relatively late start. At present, most of the Network Analyzer in the domestic market is low-frequency product. For the low-frequency users of the domestic market, especially those who work on the measure of transmission or reflection parameters in the field of the radio and television, we research and develop the Scalar Network Analyzer which has a 300KHz~1300MHz frequency range and 90dB dynamic range.This paper gives the design program of the broadband high dynamic scalar network analyzer's receiver. And it makes a detailed analysis of the importance of the various indicators. Then, we give the ADS simulation result of the receiver. Its major work includes the following: the design of the receiver's first vibration, the design of the filters and ADS simulation, the selection of the amplifiers and mixers and the design of other modules in the receiver.The characteristic of this paper is that we adopt the tuned receiver. This method can provide higher dynamic range and better sensitivity than the traditional method——diode detection.
