Industrial Engineering (IE) is a dual discipline which combines technology and management.Its core is reducing cost, improving qualities and productivity. The work research is the most important content of the IE, with the intention to design the best working method, man-hour quota, reduce the cost and improve competition of the enterprise.The Philips and Neusoft Medical Systems Limited Company (for short:Philips and Neusoft) face the global market. It manufactures and sales medical equipment for hospitals. In order to improve the people's health.Recent years, in order to satisfy the product demand of the market, the type of productions becomes plentiful, and the time limit of deliver goods becomes shorter and shorter. So the present management situation should be change, it is necessary to put emphasis on the development of interior productive potential and devotion in rising productivity with the existing resources to achieve the goal. But there still have unreasonable procedure and man-hour quota problems. It is also necessary to build scientific and reasonable standard hour.Taking the CT assembly plant as an example, this thesis introduces the application of work research (basic IE) in the production scene. IE tools are used in analyzing the working situation on the spot, detecting the unreasonable parts, and bringing up the scientific and reasonable recommendation. By the operation and procedure analysis and time study, actual production problems are solved.The thesis is divided into five parts:First section is the general introduction of the whole article that is mainly on the background, meaning, content and the thinking and method of study.Second section introduces the related theory basis from the theoretic point, such as method study and operation measure.Third section introduces CT NEU of PNC assembly process and balance of assembly line capability by work study. Fourth section introduces the further time study and standard hour of station defined by stopwatch method.Fifth section is conclusions and suggestions about implementation of industry engineer in PNC.
