With the performance improvement and the capacity scaling-up, circulating fluidized bed boilers have been more and more popularly used for Power Plants in China. For the comprehensive understanding the phenomena, performance and operational requirements, it is more important to carefully perform and study the safe and stabilization of the boilers. The paper introduced the main design parameters and the whole boiler system and its working principle and dynamic characteristic of tongliao Power Plant's 135MW 440t/h circulating fluidized bed boilers. Based on the practical operating situations of the utility boiler (the higher exit flue gas temperature and lower main reheat vapory temperature), and diagnose the main factors which effect the temperature of the exit flue gas.The burning and operating adjustment for the boiler were studied in this paper, and many main factors which effect the higher exit flue gas temperature-practical operating ash-sediment proportion is far away from the design value, and every exchange heat area has accumulated ash seriously that changes boiler's diathermancy and quality sending. Many proper measures and suggestions on running burning adjustment and optimizing control were put forward. This paper analyzed the running processes, studied the running and adjustment, and brought forward the applied methods to solve these problems in heat adjustmental situation. It studied many kinds of common problems after lignite is changed, such as coal granularity adjustment, bed temperature adjustment, bed pressure adjustment, return material quantity adjustment, air flow adjustment and coal granularity adjustment. The various causes for Power Plants' practical running problems are analyzed. Based on the analysis of the experimental data, the running optimizing and burning adjustment measures for operating were studied, and the adjustment methods in several of conditions were put forward. After period of time, boiler's operational situations have been improved obviously.
