Objective: To explore the seed propagation of Valeriana Amurensis Smir.ex Kom, the subject from conducting a study of seed germination,to provide scientific evidences for modern cultivation and the implementation of GAP.Rapid propagation of Valeriana amurensis Smir . ex Kom is studied on medium with callus tissue culture and the condition of growth and provide useful information for further foundation for mass commercial production.Method: It is carried on normal germination test and orthogomal test by usingdifferent chemical reagent and other methods. It is also calculated seed germination under many kinds of conditions such as different packaging materials storage, cryopreservation, storage, germination temperature.Primary culture of different explants, culture of cluster buds and their rooting culture were conducted on medium of treatment of adding different hormones. And illumination conditions and the pH was explored on the influence of callus induction and proliferation effect.Result: There are lots of differences in seed germination percentage which is dealed with different chemical reagent, suitable soaking time can enhance seed germination percentage. The effects of induction and the proliferation which mediums are applied different kinds of hormones or different concentration hormones are different. In the long run, medium MS+0.5mg/LNAA+5.0mg/L6-BA is the optimum medium for callus induction, and medium MS+0.5mg/L NAA+ 2.0mg/L 6-BA is optimum for callus proliferation. MS+0.2mg/LNAA+0.5mg/L6-BA in differentiation and subculture of cluster buds, MS+0.1mg/LNAA in rooting culture. Conclusion: Valeriana Amurensis Smir.ex Kom Seed must be carried on suitable disposal before sowing seed to improve seed germination percentage. The seed growing is also must be in suitable time and suitable temperature. rapid propagation can be achieved with plant tissue culture in Valeriana amurensis Smir . ex Kom callus induction and proliferation Bud and induced proliferation.
