To establish rat model of diabetes mellitus,then to approach whether the Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss.leaf's aqueous extract could amendment the diabetic rats'blood glucose and general condition though blood glucose and blood fat monitoring.And at the same time to explore whether it possess the protection to diabetic rats'brain,explore the possible mechanisms initially.To estabolish the Wistar rats'diabetic model through a high fat forage and STZ intravenous injection way.After the model estabolished, each medication group were administrated Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss.leaf's aqueous extract, aqueous extract of green tea and metiguanide.After 4 weeks,the general condition,the blood glucose,the blood fat indexes and glycosylated hemoglobin of each group were detected.The content of SOD and MDA in brain tissue were detected through absorption spectrometry. The method of immunofluorescence were used to detect the glucose transporters in brain tissue. Aqueous extract of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss.leaf were dissociated and determined the contents of danshensu,dihydroxy benzoic acid and protocatechualdehyde though the system of capillary zone electrophoresis.1.After the experiment we found that, compared with diabetic model group,green tea treated group, and metiguanide treated group, the rats in the group treateded by aqueous extract of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss.leaf had a much better spirit condition and their blood glucose steped down,their body weights increased steadily. 2.After the detection of blood fats.It was easy to conclude that all the medication groups had the effects of accommodate the indiscriminate blood fat metabolic disorder during diabetes, the rats's blood TC and TG decreased significantly in all the medication groups,while the contents of HDL-C, however,increased greatly, the effect of metiguanide were much more predominance than other groups.3.The content of diabetic rats'blood glycosylated hemoglobin increased obviously, and the content of blood GHB decreased after being drug treated. The brain tissue's content of SOD increased,while the content of MDA decreased differently in each drug treated group simultaneously.The Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss group even had a better therapeutic effect than the metiguanide group.4.There were much more GLUT land 3'expression in normal rats'hippocampus part than in cortical part. Compared with the normal control group, the expression of GLUT1 both in hippocampus part and cortical part decreased in diabetic model rats.Meanwhile,the expression of GLUT3 increased in hippocampus part and there were no obviously changes in the cortical part. These changes were attenuated in each treated group.5. The detecting results of the capillary zone electrophoresis system indicated that there were abundant content of danshensu in the Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss. aqueous extract.1.The Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss. aqueous extract do have the effect of steping down the blood glucose of diabetic rat. And it can accommodate the indiscriminate blood fat metabolic disorder of diabetic rat. And we found that the diabetic rats'body weights increased steadily at the same time.2. The Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss. aqueous extract can protect the diabetic rats'brain which mechanisms can be related to enhance the activity of organism antioxidases and abatement lipid peroxidation. It also may be relevant to the increasing expression of GLUT1 and 3 in rats'brain which can improve the energy supply of brain tissue and so on.3.There were abundant content of danshensu in the Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge var.alha C.Y.wu et H.W.Li,mss. aqueous extract.And there were dihydroxy benzoic acid etc.
