Objective:To investigate the expression of integrinα5β1,integrinαvβ3 and FAK in epithelial ovarian cancer and its relationship with the development and prognosis of the epithelial ovarian cancer.Methods:The expression of integrinα5β1,integrinαvβ3 and FAK were examined by immunohistochemical S-P staining method in 49 cases with epithelial ovarian cancer, 15 cases with benign epithelial ovarian tumors and 10 cases with normal ovarian tissue and discuss the relationship of expression and clinical pathological mechanism and prognosis among the triple.Results:Detecting the expression of integrinα5β1 in each group of the ovarian tissue by S-P immunohistochemistry method,Discovered that integrinα5β1-positive expression in epithelial ovarian cancer, benign epithelial ovarian tumors and normal ovarian tissue was 66.2%, 26.7% and 30.0%. The expression of integrinα5β1 among epithelial ovarian cancer, benign epithelial ovarian tumors and normal ovarian tissue groups had the remarkable difference (P<0.05).Detecting the expression of integrinαvβ3 in each group of the ovarian tissue by S-P immunohistochemistry method, Discovered that integrinαvβ3-positive expression in epithelial ovarian cancer, benign epithelial ovarian tumors and normal ovarian tissue was 77.6%, 33.3%, and 10.0%. The expression of integrinαvβ3 among epithelial ovarian cancer with benign epithelial ovarian tumors and normal ovarian tissue groups had the remarkable difference (P<0.05).Detecting the expression of FAK in each group of the ovarian tissue by S-P immunohistochemistry method, Discovered that FAK -positive expression in epithelial ovarian cancer, benign epithelial ovarian tumors and Normal ovarian tissue was 69.4%, 20.0% and 10.0%. The expression of FAK among epithelial ovarian cancer with benign epithelial ovarian tumors and normal ovarian tissue groups had the remarkable difference (P<0.05).In ovarian epithelial carcinoma tissues, The positive expressions of integrinα5β1,integrinαvβ3 and FAK was much higher than those of ovarian epithelial benign tumors and normal ovarian (P<0.05). The expression of integrinαvβ3 and integrinα5β1 was correlated with the histological grade and clinicopathological stage(P<0.05), It was not correlated with the age, the histological type and the size of tumours(P>0.05). The expression of FAK was correlated with clinicopathological stage (P<0.05) and was not with the others.According to Spearman rank relevance analysis, integrinα5β1 had positive correlation with FAK (r=0.490, P<0.01), integrinαvβ3 had positive correlation with FAK (r=0.499, P <0.01), integrinα5β1 had positive correlation with integrinαvβ3 (r=0.513, P <0.05).Conclusions:Integrinα5β1,integrinαvβ3 and FAK are all over expressed in ovarian epithelial carcinoma. The expression in integrinα5β1, integrinαvβ3 and FAK has a closely relationship. Integrinα5β1, integrinαvβ3 and FAK are prognostic indicators in patients with ovarian epithelial carcinoma.
