With the rapid development of Chinese social politics and economy, more and more farmers have entered the cities, and that has resulted in a special group of non-adults—left-behind children in rural areas. The problem of the left-behind children is one of the China's urban-rural dual structure derivatives. The paper focuses on the analyses and investigation of the education, mental health, and social abuse of the left-behind children of Yuncheng County and Caoxian County of Heze Municipality of Shandong Province, and discovers that these children are short of love from their family owing to their parents' absence; moreover, their guardians don't pay enough attention to them because of their old age and low education level; The low education system from school which also pay little attention to the children directly influences the children's education level. Therefore, the children have poor phsiological and mental health and also have tense ralationship with their parents, and are vulnerable to various social abuses. This paper raises the seriousness of the problems of the left-behind children and importance of resolving them, proposes some ideas and measures to them in order to update the awareness of the public and the parents towards the problems of the left-behind children, and make the society and the parents more concerned about the left-behind childen.
