Government Credit Construction On Public Crisis

Since reform and opening up, socialist construction has made great progress in China. With the rapid economic development, our society's various contradictions have been noticeable. The both sides of contradictions occurs fierce collision, if handled improperly, it can easily lead to public crisis. When crisis happens more frequent, it not only has brought numerous inconveniences and hazards for people's daily life, but also has posed severe challenges to our country's social credit system. At the stage of public crisis becomes the social normality, government credit becomes the focus of attention. Government credit is the cornerstone of social credit system, the good government credit will significantly increase social capital, thus reducing the risk of social transactions.This paper through study the theories of public crisis management and government credit, analysising many cases of major public crisis in recent years, finding out the government credit problems, and in-depth analysising of the specific reasons for lack of government credit. Through the improvement of the legal system, sound management mechanism, and encouraging multiple subjects participation in governance, thereby enhancing the government credit.
