The present study investigates and analyses the subjective and objective causes of students'negative emotion in the process of learning history in senior high school by studying the causes and countermeasures of sense of learned helplessness. Its theoretical foundation is American psychologist Seligman's Learned helplessness theory. A variety of methods are used to carry out the study, which are shown in the following:Fisrt, make tests about the sense of learned helplessness of learning history. Second, the study uses observation, questionaire, interview and aslo studies personal case. Third:the study also use the method of self-assessment questionaire and subjective evaluation method.The aim of the study is to discuss some effective methods to help students to get rid of and prevent the sense of learned helplessness by taking some useful measures to help five students who have strong sense of learned helplessness. The results are shown as follows:(1) The study discusses the sense of learned helplessness of learning history in senior high school in terms of causes, strategies, motivation and negative emotion.(2) The causes of the sense of learned helplessness include external factors and internal factors coming from students.(3) The results of the subject -history of the five students who were chosen as research subjects have been improved to some extent. Their sense of learned helplessness has been decreased significantly.(4) To get some ways of how to reduce the sense of learned helplessness in learning history.1) To provide students more opportunities to experience sense of success and create a harmonious environment for learning history.2) To establish "self-help system" of the sense of learned helplessness learning to lead-â†'Guidence learning-â†'Supervision learning-â†'Evaluation learning-â†'Incentives to improve...
