| During the new century, our Party and Central Government attach great importance to secondary vocational education unprecedentedly, and so, secondary vocational education welcomes a golden age for development. Meanwhile, it becomes a big barrier to the development of our secondary vocational education at present that more and more students of secondary vocational schools drop out from school. Then, how to reduce students'drop-out of secondary vocational schools is a problem needed to be solved immediately, for realizing good and rapid development of secondary vocational education.On the basis of defining the concept of students' drop-out of secondary vocational education, the author analyzes the status quo of students'drop-out of secondary vocational education, and takes Fujian Economic and Trade School and other secondary vocational schools in Quanzhou as examples. The thesis carries out a questionnaire survey on the reason and features of students'drop-out, elucidates the negative impacts on the country, society, family, and students themselves caused by students'drop-out, and finally presents measures on control of students'drop-out of secondary vocational schools mainly in two aspects-macrocosmic and microcosmic. In the macrocosmic aspect (governmental and social aspect): changing behindhand educational concept is the premise to avoid students'drop-out, further perfecting nine-year compulsory education system is the foundation to avoid students' drop-out, and realizing smooth hook-up between secondary vocational education and higher vocational education is the guarantee to avoid students' drop-out.In the microcosmic aspect (school aspect):reinforcing loving and caring education students'physical and psychological health promotion is the important approach to avoid students'drop-out, attaching importance on students'career planning and employment guidance is the effective means to avoid students'drop-out, and further enhancing schools'software and hardware construction and perfecting schools'internal management is the base to avoid students'drop-out.The thesis adopts the research methods of document analysis, comparison, and questionnaire survey. |
