Ideology and politics class in middle schools has been taking the burdens of fostering personnel and improving students'ideological and political quality for future. The new curriculum is an ideal blueprint which needs middle school teachers'implementation. Standard of Ideological and Political Course for Senior Middle Schools has significant breakthrough and innovation in the perspectives of basic concepts, the curriculum targets, content of courses, teaching methods and evaluation, etc, presenting new features and new requirements. Then, how big is the existing gap between the professional development status of teachers of Ideology and politics and the new curriculum requirements? How to let teachers adapt to the new curriculum requirements? What are the characteristics of teachers' personalized teaching and how to form? The paper researches into these issues with the methods of literature review, comparison and experience summarizing.First, the paper defines the theoretical basis, personalized connotation and characterization of personalized teaching. Then, based on the comparative study of the new requirements of political curriculum for teachers and teachers'disorientation in personalized teaching, the paper claims that it is an inevitable choice for teachers to pursuit personalized teaching to cope with the demands of the new curriculum and it is also the only way of political teachers'professional development. Finally, this article mainly puts forward five principles and six strategies for the formation of personalized teaching. Confusion-thinking, experience-summarizing and theory-drawing provides the research with the characteristics of pertinence, perspectiveness, feasible maneuverability and realistic significance.
