In the background of new curriculum reform, in order to carry out the reform of ideology and politics curriculum down to earth, enough attention must be paid to curriculum implementation, effective measures must be taken to impel teachers, headmasters, students, education administrative departments, researchers and the public to change their connatural conceptions so that they can authentically abandon their muddling through orientation, surmount their fidelity orientation and turn actively to their adaptation orientation and enactment orientation.This essay is divided into five parts. The first part, including the researching motivation, the review of existing researches, the definition of basic concepts, the researching significance, and the researching methods and so on, mainly introduces some of the details about this research.The second part is the investigation and analysis on the present situations of the orientations of the carrying out ideology and politics curriculum in senior middle schools. It includes the present situations of the orientations of the carrying out ideology and politics curriculum, the current ideology and politics curriculum syllabus, the present situations of curriculum resource development, the initiative of the students' participation in the study of ideology and politics course, the present situations of the students' studying behaviors, and the concerning problems and the general comments on the implementation of the new curriculum of ideology and politics curriculum.The third part systematically and deeply discusses, from different angles, the necessities and possibilities of the changing the implementation orientations of the ideology and politics curriculum in senior middle schools.The fourth part provides the chief measures to be taken to change the orientations of the carrying out ideology and politics curriculum in senior middle schools. Firstly, enforce the training to impel headmasters and teachers to update their conceptions as soon as possible. Secondly, practice the principle of school-based curriculum implementation so that teachers can exploit the state curriculum a second time. Thirdly, practice the student-oriented principle to guide students to change their learning methods and action consciousness. Fourthly, exploit school-based curriculum and the curriculum resources with the efforts of all sides. And lastly, build up good public opinions which benefit the orientation transformation of the curriculum implementation.The fifth part, the conclusion, goes over the core opinions of this essay and points out that deeper and permanent research and practice are needed to achieve the transformation.
