A Study On The Management And Set-up Of Sports Event Of Senior High School P.e. Entrance Examination In Xiamen

1999 witnessed the implementaiton of Xiamen senior high school P.E. entrance examination system,and two years later, social demand for secondary school students on the implementation of "burden reduction" policy has been strongly raised, and it leads to the suspension of examination system.In 2005, with the CPC Central Committee,State Council and Central Committee Political Bureau Standing Committee putting forward a resolution to strengthen the building of sports development, physical examination in the test, once again, was included in the agenda. By the end of 2006, Fujian Provincial Department of Education announced that in 2007, Fujian senior high school P.E. entrance examination system resumed.In the light of the relevant provisions of Xiamen senior high school P.E. entrance examination in the years of 2008 and 2009, the author participated in the organization and management of the examination. This paper aims to provide theoretical foundation of the examination system for the students, students'parents, schools, education authorities by means of conducting hands-on research on the additional P.E. entrance examination. Simultaneously, some suggestions on the organization, management, and improving sports event set-up of additional P.E. entrance examination in Xiamen.The research achievements are:the organization and management measures of Xiamen senior high school P.E. entrance examination are basically complete, and the project set-up is relatively scientific and rational, but there are some flaws in the implementation process, especially in (1) the examination process in the discipline inspection and supervision work remains to be strengthened; (2) the conditions imposed at the examination venues, facilities, standards are not identical; (3) the school examination arrangements should carefully be taken into consideration;(4) the arrangement of examination are not examiners-friendly; (5)examination items setting cannot clearly distinct between pros and cons of physical fitness of students.According to the author'on-site observation and examination investigation and analysis, this paper puts forward the tetative countermeasures:(1) to strengthen the examination process in the discipline inspection and supervision process; (2) to increase investment and gradually improve the sports facilities in rural primary and secondary schools; (3) to reasonably arrange the order of the various school examinations; (4) to improve the examination system, and make human-oriented management under the prerequisite of non-violating the principle; (5) to build a more rational examinations through scientific research.
