The campus culture, which is closely related to social development and progress, is a kind of humanistic atmosphere, campus spirit and living environments with campus features. It plays a unique role in promoting students'all-round development and achieving the goal of quality education and is irreplaceable by conventional classroom teaching and other conventional education. Campus culture is an important part of school education and also an indispensable component of comprehensive education; it is the key embodiment of standard schooling and a substantial part of moral education which awaits enhancing. Vocational colleges'strengthening the construction of campus culture is of great strategic importance to the enhancement of responsiveness and effectiveness of moral education, to the establishment of a socialist concept of honor and disgrace for college students, and to the implementation of "three represents" and the scientific concept of development.To solve vocational colleges'problems encountered in the process of creating good campus culture, this thesis, starts from analyzing the meanings and features of campus culture, summarizes scientifically the definition of vocational college campus culture, generalizes the new characteristics of campus culture displayed in our country's vocational colleges' developing process, and concludes several functions of vocational college campus culture which raise to the cultivation and influence of teachers'and students'sentiment.What's more, this thesis carries on the summary through on-the-spot investigation and interviewing material, and induces the vocational colleges'problems existed in the campus culture construction. In the end, based on the theoretical analysis, this thesis develops a further study on the problems concerning vocational college campus culture construction, and then according to the present situation of vocational college education, it comes up with a range of ways to strengthen the construction of campus culture, including integrating the campus cultural construction with the overall school development planning, create a campus culture consistent with characteristics of the times, improve the construction of campus culture evaluation system and so on.
