Research On The Well-being Of Rural-urban Floating Housemaids

By improving the situation of people's living in an all-around way and promoting people subjective sensation of happiness, the well-being of the vulnerable group is widely focused. The triple status of female, peasant worker and housemaid, which is determined the weak position of rural-urban floating housemaids. Research on their state of living and the well-being, not only has a theoretical value, but also has important practical significance. From the viewpoint of Sociology, Youth Science, Psychology, the author reviews and sorts out the current research on housemaid and well-being at home and abroad. Investigation on the well-being of rural-urban floating housemaids in Fuzhou city, the author analyzes the well-being between different groups of housemaids. It is found that the level of the well-being of rural-urban floating housemaids is a little lower than mean score, and there is significant difference in the well-being of incomes, working years and so on. Causes are then dredged up in two respects:individual factors and the other factors. Finally, the paper makes a proposal to enhance the well-being of rural-urban floating housemaids from the aspect of individual, family and society.
