Triathlon is a sport consisting of three disciplines:swimming, cycling and running. It is a very challenging and famous multi-sports. It attracted many people locally and from overseas to join the very demanding training and some join the competitions as part of their leisure times, that is why triathlon is said to be one of the top 10 valuable sports in the world. Since there will be more and more opportunities to hold the triathlon event in China, therefore, it will be more attractable if the event organization could be reinforced.With the abounding experience in joining triathlon events and the knowledge about the organization of triathlon races such as athlete services, event race site management, this thesis allows a comparison between Asian countries which organized triathlon events, and adding all the information it can originate a detailed literature about triathlon event organization.Through the interviews, field studies, observation, analysis and literature about the event organization in Asian countries to draw the following conclusions:1. In most Asian countries, the purpose of holding the triathlon event is to improve the national physique, to find out the potential triathletes, and to promote the domestic tourism. 2. The development of the triathlon events are rely on the age-grouper. 3. It is important to do the traffic control to ensure the safety for all triathletes. 4. Use the internet media and communication sufficiently may help to organize the events successfully. 5. Fix up the race course properly and the suitable start time can attract more spectator to watch the triathlon events.According to the study of the triathlon event organization in Asian countries, the suggestions are as followings:1. Reinforced the athlete services, especially age-grouper. 2. The age-grouper can divided into more detailed groups to attract more participants.3. Set up private storage area at event race site.4. The organizer should take consider about promote the triathlon event by domestic tourism. 5. Invite the experience triathletes to join the triathlon event organization.6. The organizer should take consider about extend the race course into downtown.
