Research On The Development Path Of Weihai Triathlon Events

Sports events are an important part of sports.The development of sports events have great significance to the discovery and development of excellent athletes,the improvement of infrastructure of host cities,the enhancement of new kinetic energy of economic growth,and the publicity of the image of host cities.In 2018,the general office of the state council issued guidelines on the development of sports competition industry in Canada and the development of weihai triathlon events,which not only responded to the national development policies,but also played a positive role in promoting the economic development of weihai,creating new samples of original sports events and showing the image of weihai city to the world.Weihai triathlon race is moving forward rapidly in the process of developing into a brand event.However,with the rapid development of the event,the deficiencies of the event are also highlighted,such as insufficient image building,lack of event management talents,few event projects and single source of funds.These problems have affected the development of weihai triathlon.It can be found from the collection and collation of literature about triathlon events that there are few studies and related works on triathlon events in the existing research results,especially the research on the development path of triathlon events is almost blank.Therefore,the development path of weihai triathlon is proposed.This paper adopts a variety of research methods,including literature review,questionnaire survey,expert interview and analytic hierarchy process.Based on the analysis of the development advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of weihai triathlon,this paper puts forward the principles,objectives,tasks,measures and specific ways of guarantee mechanism for the development of weihai triathlon through the construction and analysis of SWOT-AHP model.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Weihai triathlon has advantages in track and medical care.It has its own race IP and has become an Olympic qualification.It has disadvantages in terms of the administrative subject,the lack of shaping of the game image,the lack of event management talents and the cultural connotation of the event.(2)Through SWOT-AHP analysis,weihai triathlon events should adopt an enterprising development path to overcome disadvantages and seize opportunities.(3)The development path of weihai triathlon event includes the choice of development path,basic principles of development,objectives and tasks of development,development measures and guarantee mechanism of development.(4)The basic principles of the development of weihai triathlon are problem-oriented development principles,openness and sharing principles,and integrated development principles.(5)The development goal of weihai triathlon is to attract social forces to participate in the host of weihai triathlon;to train and introduce the talents of the event;to enrich the cultural connotation of the event;to create a good image of the event.(6)The implementation measures for the development of weihai triathlon events are to make use of national policies to expand the development thickness of the events;to integrate with the local culture,enrich the cultural connotation of the event:to deepen exchanges and cooperation,introduce professionals in the training of triathlon events;to use the "Internet + sports" mode to enhance the IP value of weihai triathlon events;Integrate resources and build the image of weihai triathlon.(7)The guarantee mechanism for the development of Weihai Triathlon: Establish a safeguard mechanism that integrates organizational security,supervision and evaluation feedback to ensure the development of the Weihai Triathlon.
