Research study is being praised highly because of meeting the demands of the times. Wiki is one of the important software of Web2.0, it is a kind of hypertext system, support community-oriented collaborative writing, still include a group supports the handling tool of this kind of cooperation, compares with other hypertext systems such as BBS, Blog at the same time, Wiki more open and collaborative. Anyone can edit the contents of Wiki; can also carry on the creation of new knowledge under the common cooperation of community members. On the basis of these characteristics of Wiki, we can try to apply Wiki to the research study of the university too, give play to its advantage, and offer a high-efficient platform for research study of university students.This paper regards modern education thought and education theory as guidelines, regard Wiki technology as support, with a view to training and improving university students to study independently, appling the Wiki development the ability of research study.
