OBJEVTIVESurvey acknowledge and use of family pla nning devices related knowledge, analyzeaccessibility of family pla nning devices as well as satisfaction of free family pla nningdevives service of residents in Wucha ng District of Wuhan in order to understa nd thestatus of the work of family pla nning devices in Wucha ng District and discover weaknessduring the work of family pla nning devices, summa ry experience of family pla nningdevices work and find the problems in order to provide a scientific basis for improvingma nagement of family pla nning devices and the quality of service.METHODand OBJECTSeven survey points were clustering sampled , random collect 410 sample that iseligible for investigation.The survey includes genera l demographic characteristics,acknowledge of family pla nning devices related knowledge,use of family pla nning devices ,accessibility of family pla nning devices and satisfaction of free family pla nning devicesservice. Use uniform questionnaire to investigate , make uniform code for eschquestionnaire and hand-check , each person answer questionnaire anonymous ly . All theinformation is uniform encoded . Use epidata software for data input and verification, usesoftware SAS 9.0 and SPSS13.0 for statistica l analysis.RESULTS1. demographic characteristics:The survey related to gender, age, education, occupation, marria ge, domicile. Most of residents focused on the age 31 to 40, accounting for 42.39 %.Resident populationaccounted for 54.57 percent, the floating population accounted for 29.95 percent , collegestudents accounted for 15.48%.Resident population education level ma inly focus on highschool / secondary and college ,the floating population education level ma inly focus onjunior and high school / secondary level, college students education level ma inly focus onundergraduate level.2. Knowledge on family planning devices related knowledge:Residents at high education level and residents unmarried know more kinds of familypla nning devices and more roles of family pla nning devices; students know more freechannels and purchase channels, the proportion of new access channels that students knowis the highest ,the proportion of traditiona l payment channels that resident populationknow is highest.,floating population know single channel to get family pla nning devices;the proportion of married residents who get family pla nning free is higher tha nunmarried;the proportion of resident population who know family pla nning devicesreleva nt policies is higher tha n floating population and students at school.3. Family planning devices use:The proportion of married residents who use family pla nning device is higher tha nunmarried residents.The utilization rate of condom is highest,the utilization rate ofcontraception is lowest.4. Family planning devices accessibility analysis:About the question whether the condom market is complete or the purchase of brandis convenient, the proportion of resident population who answe r affirma tive is higher tha nfloating population and students .The proportion of married people who answe raffirma tive is higher tha n unmarried people.5. High education level of residents and unmarried residents know moretype s of family pla nning devices and more role s of family pla nning devices ; knowledge rateof the floating population about family pla nning devices access channels is relatively low,access channel that floating population know is single；the percent of unmarried people whoknow family pla nning devices is relatively high, but the percent of getting free familypla nning devices is not high, the percent of family pla nning pecent is not high; the majorityof the population get family pla nning devices knowledge through traditiona l channels,theutilization rate of modern med ia technology is not high; the accessibility and satisfaction ofunmarried people and floating population need to be further improve d .SUGGESTIONSSpreading propaga nda,rich publicity content and improve mea ns of publicity;increasefamily pla nning devices business ma nagement knowledge training, make staff trainingregular;sound dissemination network to increase accessibility of family pla nning devices ;broaden channels to meet the needs of the masses; strengthen coordination and providepolicy support to improve popularity of family pla nning devices .
