In this paper, college students as the main research subjects, use quantitative research methods to analyze the acts of reading IT-type newspapers and periodicals, the motivation of reading and the satisfaction after reading IT-type newspapers and periodicals and the views of IT-type newspapers and periodicals. Even to explore the differences of implications on acts of reading between genders. By analyzing the aspects above found that gender, major and grade all play important roles on causing different implications for the the acts of reading, the motivation of reading and the satisfaction after reading IT-type newspapers and periodicals. We can see that the common culture between college students and their use of the media are on mutual influence. In this article the embodiment of "Youth sub-culture" in reading behavior is defined as "Youth sub-culture of reading", of which an embodiment the acts of reading IT-type newspapers and periodicals is. It will contribute to the study of youth sub-culture.
