| Sports is an international language.It is a universal culture that transcends national borders.In a globalized world,sports communication is not only an important means to strengthen state relations,but also a way of cultural communication and integration.In modern China,Western sports were introduced in a conscious and unconscious way,and gradually accepted by the awakened people.In this process,various forms of foreign sports exchange activities have gradually emerged and gradually increased,and the Chinese people have gradually recognized the important role of sports in the country's foreign relations.This paper takes the reports of sports exchanges in modern times as the research object.Under the premise of fully possessing historical materials,this paper uses the literature data method and historical analysis method to put the modern sports exchanges in the historical context of 1896 to 1937.According to the characteristics of sports exchanges at different stages,the sports exchange activities in this period are divided into three historical stages: development,transformation and reconstruction,so as to explore the media's presentation of modern sports exchange activities in different historical stages,and modern sports exchanges in China.The diachronic vertical development path and the coupling relationship between the media,the media-constructed modern Chinese sports exchanges,and its implications for the current Chinese sports exchanges.Through the analysis,it is found that in each historical stage of modern times,sports external contacts show different characteristics.In the stage of development,the destination of sports external exchanges has changed from Europe and the United States to the East,and the activities of sports external exchanges have also changed from military sports and school sports to competitive sports.In the stage of transformation,the Far East Games are the center of sports external exchanges in China,but the school sports external exchanges have further developed,and the sports external exchanges of non-governmental organizations have begun to emerge;in the stage of reconstruction,the government has begun to carry out sports external exchanges.The role of Far East Games and Olympic Games as the political arena has been fully demonstrated,and the sports exchanges of non-governmental organizations have become more prosperous and developed.From the characteristics and interpretations of sports external contacts indifferent stages,we can conclude that: Firstly,the concept of modern western sports has changed from conflict to learning and then to competition.Secondly,under the coexistence of Chinese and Western sports dual cultures,the agenda setting of newspaper reports on Sports foreign exchanges has changed from conflict to integration.Thirdly,from the perspective of newspaper public opinion,sports is playing an increasingly important role in the field of public diplomacy.It plays an important role. |
