Research On The Application Of Image Historical Materials In Modern Newspapers And Periodicals In High School History Teaching

With the rise of visual culture research and the advent of the digital image era,image research has received more and more attention,and more and more image historical materials have begun to be applied to high school history teaching.In the context of digitization of historical materials,the database of newspaper and periodical historical materials has become more and more perfect,compared with the previous way of needing to go to libraries and archives to read newspaper and periodical historical materials,digitization has made the acquisition of newspaper and periodical historical materials "within reach",creating conditions for the development and application of image resources in newspapers and periodicals.The number of images in modern newspapers and periodicals is not only unknown,but also the content is all-encompassing,and its openness and application can provide new perspectives and rich teaching materials for high school history teaching.On the basis of existing research,the thesis aims to sort out and classify the image historical materials of newspapers and periodicals from the form of presentation,take the teaching concept of image history,constructivism and discovery learning theory as the theoretical basis for the use of newspaper and periodical image historical materials,combine curriculum reform,the cultivation of critical thinking and teachers' subject literacy to analyze the feasibility of applying newspaper and periodical image historical materials to high school history teaching,and explore the value of newspaper images in history education.In order to be able to understand the current application of image historical materials in the teaching of secondary school history,on the basis of student questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews,the article discusses the principles of using newspaper image historical materials in history teaching,and proposes the strategy of using newspaper image historical materials in teaching from three aspects: the collection,selection,application and presentation of newspaper and periodical image historical materials,and on this basis,it tries to carry out specific case design.Through the study of the use of newspaper and periodical image historical materials in high school history teaching,the article provides more possibilities for the teaching practice of historical materials in history education,in order to promote the development and application of newspaper and periodical image resources,provide more teaching materials for middle school history teaching under the background of the new curriculum reform,promote the transformation of teaching methods and learning styles,and then promote the implementation of the core literacy of the discipline,and conform to the requirements of the times of foster virtue through education.
