With the improvement of economic and cultural levels, the diversity pursue of tourists travel in the ways are more and more intense, so self-tour emerged,and being the behavior that much concerned by tourists. Hezhou city is an emerging tourist city, as well as a must place that from Guangdong, Hongkong and Macao areas to Guilin city ,whose self-tour is developing, therefore through the international renowned tourist city----Guilin city to drive self-tour in Hezhou city is particularly important.Through questionnaires , field interviews and other forms to analyze the present conditions, problems towards to self-tour market development in Guilin and Hezhou cities, used SWOT analysis method analyzed the conditions of Guilin and Hezhou cities to develop self-help travel, then putted forward during developing and stabling the self-tour market, Guilin should pay attention to traffic problems and single tourism products, meanwhild mentioned that during develop self-travel market,Hezhou should be combined with Guilin, and learn from Guilin ,as well as integrate the tourism resources in Guilin and Hezhou, designed travel routes for self-travel, thereby contributing to Guilin and led Hezhou tourism development.Finally, the innovation of thesis lies in analyzing on self-help travel resource development and market development prospects in Guilin and Hezhou cities from the points of view of tourism resources and location, gives comparison to the relatively perfect self-travel in Guilin and immature self-travel development in Hezhou, with the advantage that Hezhou and Guilin have adjacent location , designs attractions lines to the development of self-travel in Guilin and Hezhou cities.
