Nowadays, with the development of scientific and technological and economic globalization, enterprises are facing the fierce competition. If a enterprise want to have a place in the competition, it must be fully develop its core competitiveness. However, the core competitiveness of enterprise is always determined by the human. Human capital in business can not replicated in other enterprises and cannot got in the same price. This is to say, competitiveness of enterprises just is the talent competition.As the bridge between the senior managers and first-line managers, middle managers of enterprises can not be replaced with the role of other people. They should not only perform high resolution, but also promote the work of grass-roots workers.Because of this, the study of this article focused on the selection of enterprises on the evaluation of middle managers. Based on a large number of domestic and international research results, this article establish the competence model of middle managers, then use the goodness ideas of matter-element analysis theory to carry on the evaluation of candidates selected to improve the objectivity of the personnel selection system. This paper describes the method and progress of competence model in enterprises, then and then establishes evaluation index system. Rate in the evaluation of candidates, the building element model from the candidates, using matter-element analysis theory to calculate the candidate statistical evaluation results to make a final selection decision. In the case study, this method is used in the choice of finance manager in a company. However the specific effect remains to be further investigation and testing.The results of this study, various types of enterprises in the future evaluation of the selection of middle managers, it can provide a reference and help.
